Camrex Consultants was founded in Cambridgeshire by Dr. Emma Greatorex. Emma combines ~25 years of commercial experience with Ph.D. level scientific knowledge. She works with a network of talented specialists to tackle a range of projects including marketing, product management, and business development.

Dr Emma Greatorex
I 've been lucky enough to spend the last 25 years working for some of the top companies in the life sciences industry, eg Qiagen, Abcam, Affymetrix and LGC, learning from the many great people I've encountered along the way.
After gaining my PhD from Imperial College and undertaking two post docs in molecular biology, I started my first commercial role in tech support in 2001. I then developed my business skills with roles in sales and business development, before progressing to senior management positions in product marketing and business unit management.
During my career, as both a consultant and full time employee, I estimate that I've worked with commercial and technical teams at >200 life science companies - I’ve worked for distributors, manufacturers and OEM resellers in public companies, private companies and startups. This has allowed me to develop my skillset within a broad range of systems, technologies and teams.
My technical expertise spans genomics, protein biology, drug development and agricultural biotechnology. I pride myself on keeping abreast of new scientific developments and leveraging my strong technical background to deliver high quality commercial projects.
I have established and led global teams, and enjoy mentoring and motivating individuals to ensure they achieve their full potential.
I've used various sales methodologies such as SPIN, DISC, and Challenger Sales. I am Hubspot certified, and for marketing I specialise in inbound marketing strategies to attract, engage and delight customers.
